Wimmera Amateur Radio Group

Formerly the Horsham Amateur Radio Club, the Wimmera Amateur Radio Group represents the amateur radio operators of the Wimmera district of Victoria, Australia. We are incorporated and our Reg No. is A0029661X.

Monthly meetings are held on the first Monday of the month at 7:30PM. The venue/club rooms are located at the State Emergency Services building, McPherson St Horsham.

WARG has a weekly net on Wednesday nights on 80m, 3.555Mhz, starting at 8:00pm Local EST. Anybody is welcomed to join.

Some of the groups members are keen field day operators, and WARG is usually represented on most VHF/UHF & John Moyle Field Days.  WARG sometimes has Activity Meetings which maybe held on weekends. These maybe a BBQ get together or a club activity/project etc.
